About Mike Lierman

Passion and curiosity drive me to explore new challenges and opportunities. I have a restless mind that never stops learning, and I strive for excellence in everything I do. When I was 15, I launched Invise Solutions, a computer repair business, from a spare bedroom converted into an office. Since then, my work has become dynamic and diverse. Many may not recognize me as that teenager I was; I have grown up, and so has my business. Invise Solutions is now a full-fledged IT company that offers services to people and designs and implements IT solutions for local businesses in Utah County.

A team of talented and dedicated professionals supports me in my vision and values. I compare them to an orchestra, where I know the strengths and weaknesses of each employee and intern, in each seat, and in each row. I assign projects based on their skills and interests, while helping them develop new ones. They are trusted to deliver quality work and communicate effectively. The perfection and control from being a sole performer was a pride and enjoyment of mine, but I learned that letting go of that control was one of the best things I have ever done.

As someone who is not always doing the repairs or answering the phones, this makes many wonder, “what is Mike working on these days?” I am always learning new aspects within fields related to tech. Besides my computer/IT skills, coding and programming are also a passion and hobby of mine. Several years ago, I founded Invise Labs, a business that houses all of my coding and programming projects, such as tools and programs that solve problems and make life in IT easier. My computer business has faced several challenges and setbacks in our journey, and we are currently in the process of rebuilding. In the meantime, I had to find a full-time job, but I will never give up. I learned to delegate and collaborate, to be accountable and decisive, and to embrace change on the road of life. Curiosity and creativity have kept me alive; all of these qualities have made me a successful entrepreneur and leader. This has not been an easy path, but it is the one I chose, and I appreciate every step of the way.
